IT Support Specialist Contract
This role involves providing skilled IT support to a client in Galway, focusing on complex technical issues and contributing to IT infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, including Active Directory management.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
* Assist with the deployment and management of Azure services.
* Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation.
* Document technical solutions and maintain an accurate log of support tickets.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows and Microsoft technologies.
* Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.
* Experience with networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and security practices.
* Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Linux environments.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
This is a hybrid setup with exciting project involvement. Work will be done from home with occasional office visits.
