What is the opportunity? As a UX Writer, you'll be integral to Group Customer Office. You'll craft unified content that touches hearts and minds, championing consistency, and excellence across our digital products and services. This is a 12 month fixed term contract In this role, you will: Craft clear, concise, and engaging content for digital products, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience that's SEO-optimised for metadata as required. Act as a guardian of our brand voice, ensuring consistency and authenticity is in every message. Be familiar with collaborative tools and processes including Microsoft Office, Figma and Jira. Work with designers from our Experience Design team to create and optimise customer journeys across our web and app platforms. Work closely with the UX researchers to create copy variations and to understand customer feedback, expectations, frustrations and opportunities within product application journeys. Understand the importance of consistency in terminology, and collaborate with others on the writing and design teams to apply this consistency across our digital real estate and comms. Contribute to our Content Style Guide and brand tone of voice. Ensure all content is accessible and inclusive, adhering to standard processes and guidelines on alt text, metadata. What will make you stand out? A strong background in content, with experience in customer experience or design. Stellar communication skills, capable of influencing partners at all levels. A passion for great writing and a deep understanding of its impact on the customer experience. An awareness of emerging technologies that can deliver rich, intuitive, and engaging experiences. A collaborative mentality, a willingness to push boundaries and a strong desire to challenge the 'because we've always done it this way'. The new GCO division will be responsible for the development of a Group wide Customer Strategy focused on listening to the voice of our customers and putting them at the heart of decision-making for Bank of Ireland. They ensure that we are actively listening to our customers, advocating for their needs, and putting customers first across all divisions within the Bank of Ireland Group. This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin.
