Some of the main duties & responsibilities will include:
* Functioning in a team environment, communicating with all members in the office and contributing positively to the firm.
* Maintaining a record of experience and complying with the respective professional organization’s requirements for its completion.
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
* General bookkeeping duties, preparing bank reconciliations, and verification of books of prime entry.
* Preparing Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
* Preparing working papers.
* Preparing revenue returns and processing online.
* Working directly with clients on issues as they arise.
* Mentoring junior staff.
* Ad hoc duties as required.
Key Requirements
* Qualified or dedicated and committed to completing study to become a qualified ACCA Accountant with a 3rd Level Qualification.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff and clients.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and within a team on a range of tasks.
* Excellent problem-solving skills; computer literate in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Interest and ability to learn at a fast pace.
* Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
