Genetics- Medical Laboratory Aide
The purpose of this post is to assist the Genetic Technologists and Clinical Scientists in the technical tasks required to maintain an efficient and high quality genetic diagnostic service. This post will provide general support for the day-to-day maintenance of the laboratory. The post holder will perform routine laboratory duties that will aid the department in the diagnostic work up of patient samples for genetic testing.
We will only be shortlisting candidates who are already eligible to work in Ireland full-time and do not require Critical skills/ general and/or Irish Visa as this is an urgent post.

* School leaving certificate, to include a pass mark in biological science with evidence of further study or qualifications
* Basic scientific knowledge
