Payroll Administrator Role at InisCare
The Payroll Administrator plays a critical role in managing the payroll process and supporting the finance department. This position requires a meticulous and organized professional who ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with Irish tax laws, and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with fortnightly & monthly payroll for all employees across several companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Irish tax and employment laws.
2. Maintain payroll records and ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate.
3. Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
4. Manage employee benefits, pensions, and other deductions.
5. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to relevant authorities (e.g., Revenue Commissioners, stakeholders).
6. Complete social welfare forms, salary certificates, letters, and any other requests as they arise.
7. Ensure all annual leave accruals are captured correctly and updated accordingly.
8. Ensure all sick leave is captured correctly and updated accordingly.
9. Register new employees in an efficient manner.
10. Process employees leaving the company in an efficient manner.
11. Assist with finance responsibilities including invoicing, payments, purchase orders.
12. Provide general payroll and finance administrative support.
13. Perform other office administrative duties.
Compliance and Reporting:
1. Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and standards.
2. Prepare and submit statutory filings.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
1. Assist with ad hoc projects to improve the current process in place.
2. Assist with auditing and compliance reports.
3. Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar finance role is essential.
* Proven track record with BrightPay is a distinct advantage.
* Solid understanding of payroll processes and Irish tax regulations.
* Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g., Accounting Technician, IPASS certification) is desirable but not essential.
* Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
