What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for building partnerships that drive bottom line results with our key business and functional leaders. You will have a direct hand in driving Omnissa’s trajectory through your ability to drive savings, negotiate beneficial commercial terms, and influence decision-makers and vendors to achieve results. You will also have a key role in the development and implementation of our Strategic Sourcing roadmap, policies, and long term vision.
Here is a breakdown:
* Take leadership role for assigned stakeholders and/or projects to develop sourcing strategy and execute negotiations in alignment with company objectives.
* Bring your insight and input to your projects to develop optimized negotiation strategies that balance capital and risk as a new company, partnering with leadership to gain the support needed to execute.
* Leverage contract renewal system, working in conjunction with team members, to drive earlier engagement of sourcing with its stakeholders.
* Leverage benchmarking resources to support negotiations and strategy development.
* Negotiation and support of various sourcing opportunities in the $250k/yr - $2M+/yr.
* Assist on various contract administration activities.
* Be a team player and collaborate well with business partners across globe.
What will you bring to Omnissa?:
* Strong negotiating acumen using market insight and analysis to reduce cost and/or improve value.
* Proactive vendor management and stakeholder management skills.
* Financial and pricing analysis skills that enable effective short term and long-term cost optimization.
* Domain expertise in at least one of the following: hyper-scaler, workplace, HR, or marketing domain with a strong focus in the independent software vendor industry.
* A focus on collaboration and communication to expedite project velocity.
* Delivery of results with high degree of Ethics, Integrity & Passion.
