Overall Purpose of the Role:
The Earnings Estimates and Analyst Recommendations give users several pieces of information mainly on the prediction of a broker on financial data for a particular equity and historical data/future estimates that they can use in judging the recommendation opinion of the respective contributors and put them into context based on economic and business trends for a specific industry, geographical region, or type of product and provide comparative measures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Extract & analyse key financial estimates from financial statements like Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of various brokerage firms and global companies, both in English and any language.
* Attribute the available data in the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement in accordance with the collection policy.
* Conduct Broker’s specific financial research.
* Maintain, improve and deliver accurate, timely and high-quality information for the Client Terminal.
* Work within various global accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS, etc.
* Take ownership of broker’s financial statements analysis and keep up to date with all updates across the markets and broker’s rules.
* Employ analytical and logical reasoning to problem solve issues and use best judgment to highlight service level impacts to team leader.
* Work on secondary products and specific industries.
* Demonstrable interest in financial markets.
* Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or relevant work experience.
* An understanding of the components of financial statements.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly and work to tight and conflicting deadlines.
* Speed and accuracy when processing data with a high level of attention to detail.
* Good proficiency in MS Excel is required (VBA and Macros experience an advantage).
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
