Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Stock Control Manager with a strong background in supply chain management. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the company's inventory, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining stock levels to achieve high service levels.
Duties of the Role:
* Collaborate with suppliers to build relationships and manage replenishment of stock efficiently.
* Analyse stock data to identify trends and forecast accurately.
* Implement open to buy process by working closely with retail business.
* Manage a team of two administrators.
* Work closely with warehouse to streamline stock management processes.
* Implement and maintain best practice for stock control processes.
* Ensure compliance with company policies.
* Support finance team with stock valuations and reconciliations.
* Cycle counts and stock audits to identify discrepancies.
* Update pricing on system and monitor margin.
* Monitor and work for most cost-effective method on all inbound consignments.
Requirements:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in stock management software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* Ability to analyse and make data-driven decisions.
* Knowledge and understanding of a professional supply chain environment.
* Experience within a professional retail-related environment with exposure to managing an open to buy process.
* Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in a Stock Manager Role.
