Job Title: Food Service Worker
The primary role of the Food Service Worker is to prepare and cook food according to established recipes and production guidelines while maintaining high standards of food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.
Given the site location, transport requirements may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service by serving food and beverages in accordance with company standards.
* Maintain strict adherence to all food hygiene regulations, particularly H.A.C.C.P guidelines.
* Perform cleaning duties associated with service equipment and furniture.
* Prepare service areas and points for optimal functionality.
* Ensure accurate storage and replenishment of service equipment.
* Store food items and equipment properly after service.
* Efficiently assemble and serve food, including some light cooking as required.
* Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
* Process cash transactions accurately, adhering to company till procedures.
* Attend in-house training sessions as scheduled.
* Mainitain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform in line with company regulations at all times.
* Presentation and image should always promote positive customer relations.
* Support and implement the company's health and safety policy.
* Contribute to the promotion and implementation of company policies and procedures.
* Assist in assigned tasks by the Management team to ensure smooth department operations.
* Barista duties will also be expected.
* A genuine interest in food and service is essential.
* Excellent customer service skills and a courteous manner are paramount.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
* Competency in completing paperwork as assigned by your line manager.
* Dedication and self-motivation are critical for success.
* Good timekeeping is also vital.
* Contribution to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene is expected.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a catering environment is desirable; on-the-job training will be provided. Basic food hygiene qualification must be obtained within six months.
* Familiarity with Food Hygiene, including HACCP principles.
* At least one year's experience in a similar environment.
* Strong understanding of the English language.
* Customer service experience is also beneficial.
