Our client is a global investment bank with operations in Dublin City Centre, seeking an Assistant Manager - Regulatory Reporting on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Promote a client-focused approach to enhance relationships and leverage internal systems and expertise.
* Prepare accurate internal management information and regulatory returns using automated platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
* Ensure robust processes and systems are in place for accurate and timely reporting, including reconciliation and analysis. Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, addressing queries and maintaining strong professional relationships.
* Support automation and process improvement initiatives within the regulatory reporting framework, contributing to data quality enhancements and operational efficiency.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory standards, financial markets, and relevant accounting practices.
* Undertake various ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, providing timely and accurate financial information.
* Ensure effective business operations, adhering to risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance standards, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree and professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Significant experience in a related role within financial services.
* Strong knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements, including relevant regulatory reporting standards and capital frameworks.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in business application software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and collaborate effectively within a team.
