Job Description
Our regional distribution centre operates around the clock, seven days a week, requiring staff to work day and night shifts. As a member of our Logistics team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Warehouse Operatives in Goods In, Selections or Transport departments, ensuring stock is received, stored, packed, and transported according to the highest standards.
You will deliver a performance-oriented and motivating work environment for all employees, participate in operational activities, and demonstrate strong leadership skills through leading by example. You will also manage key performance indicators, engage with multiple IT systems, and complete regular quality control checks.
In addition, you will coordinate on-the-job training for Warehouse Operatives and other trainees, develop and maintain team work schedules and annual leave planning, and possess the ability to lead a team and inspire others.
