Windows Server Infrastructure Architect
A long-term daily rate contracting role in a hybrid Dublin environment is available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the architecture review, design, implementation, and management of Windows Server OS security hardening, including group policies, DSC configurations, and LAPS.
* Provide SME-level Windows Server support and administration (AD, File Services, DFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Windows Clustering, Certificate Authorities, etc).
Infrastructure Management:
* Manage Windows Server infrastructure, including build configuration definition, build certification, build deployment automation.
* Lifecycle management of Windows Servers, including provisioning, de-provisioning, enforcement of configuration management (virtual and physical server infrastructure).
Automation and Monitoring:
* Assist with the design, implementation, and management of automation activities within the Windows Server perimeter.
* Review, recommend, and implement enhancements to reduce BAU effort, improve performance, reliability, and security within the Windows Server perimeter.
Tenant Management:
* Assist with O365 tenant management, identity security, reporting, licensing, and BAU automation.
Hardware and Software:
* Work with hardware from HP, DELL, EMC, Isilon.
* Utilize software such as Quest ARS, Microsoft, Centreon, Ivanti, Tanium, Splunk, VMWare, Sentinel One, Cyberark, Rapid7, O365, and Jira.
Requirements:
* 15+ years of experience as a Windows Server Engineer/Architect.
* Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Windows Server OS versions (2022, 2019, 2016, 2012 R2).
* Expert-level understanding of Windows Server core infrastructure services (Active Directory/Azure AD, Group Policies, DFS/DFSR, Certificate Authorities, DHCP & DNS, Windows Server clustering/high availability solution).
Desirable Experience:
* Quest ARS, QuickConnect, Cyberark, VMWare, Ansible.
