We are recruiting a Part time Legal Secretary to work in a well established general practice based in the Dunlaoghaire area who specialising in Family Law, Conveyancing, Litigation, Wills and Personal Injury. Responsibilities Front desk duties, managing clients coming into the Practice Opening new client accounts, managing records and retrieve requested information. Conveyancing - assisting to draft and prepare contracts, agreements, and other paperwork needed for property sales and purchases, communicating with clients, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other involved parties to keep everyone updated on the progress of transactions, ensuring that all documents are submitted on time and that important dates (like exchange dates or completion dates) are met, dealing with clients directly in relation to feedback on deadlines and queries. Preparing and filing legal documents for the High Court and Circuit Family Court such as Wills, Affidavits, Briefs, Pleadings, Motions and Vouching. Dictaphone Typing Processing expenses, bills, logging all payments Filing of documents and client information Diary management and making appointments for the two senior Solicitors in a fast-paced legal office. Gathering information required for cases such as medical records and medical reports. Scanning, photocopying, faxing, replying to email enquiries. Answering a high number of phone calls and engaging in active listening to understand client's requests in a sensitive, professional and caring manner. Communicating with outside Solicitors to relay critical information in order to schedule Hearings. Requirements: Min 2- 3 years previous Legal Secretarial experience in the area of conveyancing and probate Client facing experience Good dictaphone typing skills Ability to multitask and prioritise Hours: Monday-Friday 3 days per week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, (open to 4 days or full time hours also) Salary : €40-44k depending on expereince - pro rata Skills: Legal Secretary Legal Executive Secretary
