Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER
Permanent, Full Time (35hrs)
Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are now inviting applications for the post of Senior Social Worker. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Social Worker to work in the CAMHS HUB. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of developing services for young people presenting in crisis.
Minimum Requirements
* Have the National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent and be registered with the Social Workers Registration Board of CORU as a Social Worker;
* Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience of social work, 2 of which are experience in CAMHS;
* Have experience of involvement in developing policy, procedures and service provision;
* Be clearly able to demonstrate their competence and ability to provide leadership, supervision, effective therapeutic intervention and skill in organizing and planning;
* Further post graduate training in related area and/or research skills an advantage;
* A full clean Drivers License is desirable.
Remuneration
Salary Grade 3019 Social Worker Senior Medical on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale: €68,899 - €79,474 per annum pro rata.
Initial location
The initial location of this role is Rathgar, Dublin 6. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
