We are seeking a results-driven Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of performance marketing across various platforms, including Google AdWords, Google DV360, YouTube and Meta (Facebook, Instagram). You will be responsible for driving online acquisition, optimising campaign performance, and maximising ROI through strategic paid media campaigns. This role requires a proactive mindset, analytical skills, and a passion for digital marketing.
Functions of the Role/Main Responsibilities:
Campaign Management & Optimisation:
* Plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google AdWords, Google DV360, YouTube and Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to meet performance goals.
* Implement strategies for keyword bidding, ad copy testing, and A/B testing to maximise conversion rates and lower cost per acquisition (CPA).
* Continuously monitor and adjust campaign budgets and bids to ensure efficiency and maximise ROI.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
* Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), cost per click (CPC), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
* Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign results.
* Use Google Analytics and other analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and user behaviour.
Audience Targeting & Segmentation:
* Develop and refine audience segments to target the right demographics across Google and Meta platforms.
* Implement remarketing strategies to re-engage users and drive conversions.
Platform Expertise & Innovation:
* Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and updates in Google AdWords, DV360, and Meta.
* Identify new opportunities for growth and recommend innovative approaches to improve campaign performance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the content, creative, and data analytics teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to digital campaigns.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and agencies involved in digital advertising efforts.
The Person Specification:
* 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing performance campaigns on Google AdWords, DV360, YouTube and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns.
* Education to a degree level (ideally digital marketing) or highly relevant compensating work experience in the service/energy industry.
* Proven track record of optimising campaigns to achieve performance goals, such as ROI, CPA, and conversion rates.
* Proficiency in Google AdWords, Google DV360, YouTube, and Meta Business Manager.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics and other tracking tools.
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
