JFC Group are currently recruiting a Welder/fabricator for their expanding Engineering Workshop Team in Tuam, Co. Galway.
Key duties and Responsibilities Manufacture of stock components, jigs, and fixturesProgramming of Robotic welding, CNC tube benders and automatic saw linePlan and schedule cutting, pressing drilling, and venting of all parts in line with demandQuality and stock controlWorking from engineering drawingsCalculating measurements and cutting plans for raw materialsSetup job in according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, callipers, rule, etc.Use of workshop equipment including bandsaw, radial drill, tube benders, press brake, guillotineWorking on own initiative regarding process/ methods of fabricationCreate records and sketches of bespoke items where neededKeeping records of Welding Certificates, plant safety records etc.
