Equipment Project Engineer
About the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of a project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and scope standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver equipment projects for biopharmaceutical operations, including enzyme, monoclonal antibodies, oral dosage, medical devices, laboratories, and packaging.
2. Procure and accept equipment and associated infrastructure, reporting regularly on project status throughout the lifecycle.
3. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety codes, approved project KPIs, performance standards, and specifications.
4. Liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver project deployment.
5. Chair project teams, interpret requirements, and ensure approval to align project scope as requested.
6. Assign responsibilities, mentor team members, and maintain accurate project planning documentation using the Sanofi stage gate model.
7. Communicate effectively with weekly reports to management and senior stakeholders.
8. Support other project participants in overcoming obstacles.
9. Review engineering deliverables, initiate site change controls, and document changes required by the project lifecycle.
10. Deliver performance metrics for budget, schedule, scope, and quality adherence.
About You:
Essential Requirements:
1. Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
2. Minimum 10+ years' experience in a project management role.
3. Detailed knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
4. Exemplary communication, dedication, and focus on delivering key results within the role.
5. Masters degree an advantage.
