Job Description:
The Supply Chain Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the customer service, purchasing, and scheduling functions. The successful candidate will be tasked with integrating supply chain activities to optimize customer service, product supply, inventory investment, and cost.
Responsibilities:
* Direct and coordinate all materials-related activities
* Provide organization, operation, and control of the customer supply chain process at our clients facility in Kildare
* Procure, receive, store, schedule, disperse, and ship finished products, parts, and services
Essential Functions:
* Qualification for this position requires satisfactory performance of essential duties, compliance with company policies and procedures, and adherence to assigned tasks
* Know and follow all safety rules, including safe work practices and standard operating procedures
* Serve as a good role model by conducting yourself professionally and maintaining a safe work environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct the activities of the Supply Chain Department to ensure timely receipt and scheduling of material requirements
* Buy, plan, and schedule activities to meet customer demands
* Develop, implement, and maintain best practices in customer service, forecasting, supply chain management, inventory management, warehouse management, and master scheduling
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business with a minimum of 10 years of materials experience and 7 years of demonstrated leadership experience in global procurement, planning, and distribution
* APICS Certification is an advantage
* Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Work Environment:
General office area with moderate noise. Occasional projects may require working at suppliers, customers, or on the shop floor.
