Commercial Accountant Role Overview
This exciting role offers the opportunity to provide accounting and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of Aviation clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the point of contact for a portfolio of clients, handling all accounting, indirect tax, and advisory matters.
* Collaborate closely with client managers and partners, preparing management accounts and reports for clients, and ensuring compliance with tight month-end deadlines.
* Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with standard operating procedures and relevant accounting standards.
* Bridge the gap between auditors and clients, maintaining strong working relationships with all audit firms and ensuring audits are planned and completed within specified deadlines.
* Oversee and review accounts produced by team members, ensuring high quality and compliance with applicable IFRS and Irish GAAP standards.
Requirements:
* Experience as a qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant with 0 - 3 years of post-qualification experience is preferred.
* Prior practice experience is beneficial.
* Experience in managing or supervising a team or team member is advantageous.
* Excellent client relationship management and practice development skills are essential.
* Proficiency in numerous accounting software packages is required.
