Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist – CDNT
Location: Mayo
Salary: Competitive, in line with HSE pay scales
Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday
Contract: 6 months

Join our client’s dynamic and dedicated Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT), where they strive to empower children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential. They are seeking a passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to be a key player in the development and delivery of their services. Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with a wide range of disabilities and developmental conditions.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and social workers.
3. Provide leadership and guidance to junior therapists, offering supervision and support as required.
4. Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance care delivery.
5. Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and strategies to support children’s development and independence in their daily activities.
6. Manage a varied caseload efficiently, ensuring the best outcomes for each child.
7. Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and development of therapy services in the CDNT.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in paediatric or disability services.
4. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a healthcare or disability setting.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
6. Strong commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
