Purchasing Manager | Dublin (Tier 1 Contractor)
An international market leading contractor with significant annual turnover is seeking a Purchasing Manager / Procurement Specialist to join their team in the Leinster area.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will support Senior Management in delivering 'leading edge' construction & engineering projects and work closely with project teams from the earliest stages of the project.
* Assemble tender packages and evaluate submissions from a commercial/technical/programme perspective.
* Negotiate package agreements, including terms and conditions.
* Liaise with project teams to improve demand planning and supplier management.
Responsibilities:
* Provide commercial support to project teams.
* Attend project meetings and obtain required information.
* Assemble procurement packages for tender.
* Liaise with project teams to improve demand planning.
* Drive improvements in supplier price management and performance.
Requirements:
* Degree qualification.
* 5+ years' experience in engineering, commercial development, civil, residential or refurb/fit out industries.
* Solid understanding of MS Office products.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Excellent communication skills.
The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
