Assistant Accountant/Part Qualified Accountant - Portlaoise Here at Enva, an exciting new vacancy has arisen for a part qualified Accountant to join our expanding team in Portlaoise.
This position would suit a part qualified accountant, who is looking to consolidate their experience as part of a large and busy finance team in a growing business.
Hybrid working arrangements are available but must be flexible to suit business needs.
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic professional who possesses a positive attitude, flexible with excellent communication & IT skills.
Key Responsibilities Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts with specific P&L responsibility plus balance sheet reconciliations to tight month-end deadlines.
Weekly & monthly forecasting and variance analysis, including KPIs & commentary on performance.
Working closely with & supporting business managers & directors by providing information to aid in decision making.
Preparation of all monthly/annual Group reporting packs Annual budgeting & preparation of annual financial statements and assist with the year end audit requirement.
Ensuring compliance with all Revenue & other obligations e.g., VAT/VIES/Intrastat/CSO Assisting with ERP implementation project as required Bank reconciliations.
Support Senior Finance management with adhoc projects.
Ad hoc duties as required, e.g.
sales imports, capex, intercompany reconciliations, cashflow forecasting & banking.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 3rd level accounting qualification/degree essential.
Working towards an ACA or ACCA qualification.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP experience an advantage.
Excellent computer literacy with strong working knowledge/ experience in Excel essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent numeric and organisational skills.
Ability to work methodically through problems with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
