2 years experience desirable but not essential.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Grill Supervisor provides ongoing support to the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds the targets established for their individual unit. The Supervisors work as a team with training coordinators and staff at the unit level. The Supervisor reports to the General Manager / Assistant Manager. Ongoing support and development are given from the General Manager, and various management duties will be delegated as necessary. The Grill Supervisor is fully responsible for the cleanliness of the Grill area maintaining Health and Safety standards in line with HCCAP, ensuring all products meet customer satisfaction and are held accountable to ensure company policy is met in each area.
THE JOB
* Coaches, counsels and works with the General Manager to develop Training Coordinators.
* Responds to General Manager requests.
* Assists the General Manager in community investment and customer care.
* Carry out all duties diligently and have a positive impact on QSC.
* Must be flexible, able to work in all areas.
* Ensure all standards are met by ensuring all checks are carried out regarding Allergens, Hygiene and Safety practices.
* Must abide by all standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Fast-paced “non-stop” environment. Physically demanding at times due to certain requirements of the business with regards to the level of business, quality of staff, quantity of staff, preparedness for business demands, etc. Certain business volumes necessitate prolonged periods of time without sitting down.
