Corporate, Major Gifts, Trust and Foundation Officer
The Corporate, Major Gifts, Trust and Foundation Officer will play a pivotal role in delivering an ambitious fundraising portfolio to sustain the work of Pieta in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of an ambitious fundraising portfolio to sustain the work of Pieta in Ireland.
* Research, grow, care, manage, and maintain the Pieta portfolio, building relationships with future funders.
* Plan and deliver the corporate portfolio strategy to maximize opportunities for raising unrestricted and restricted funds from trusts, foundations, and philanthropies.
* Implement systems for planning, monitoring, and feedback that enhance and support the portfolio.
* Work with various departments to identify, develop, and communicate the case for support for Pieta.
* Drive lead generation and prospect identification with regular progress reporting to your line manager.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Corporate, Major Gifts, or Trusts & Foundations role.
* Proven experience of growing and winning significant income in the sector through excellent relationship management.
* Strategic writing skills with the ability to articulate and inspire the long-term vision and values of Pieta.
* Expertise in every stage of prospect pipeline management from identification to solicitation and stewardship.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize a heavy workload and meet deadlines.
* Professional communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Initiative and focus to carry out the research function of this role.
* Experience working with databases and supporter journeys.
* A full driver's license is required.
