The Manufacturing Engineer II
This role applies technical knowledge and Edwards systems/procedures to optimize manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Apply engineering methods (e.g., LEAN, basic statistics) to improve manufacturing processes.
* Develop experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and create reports.
* Analyze and resolve manufacturing and compliance issues (e.g., CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations).
* Develop training and documentation materials for production to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
* Establish project plans to meet customer expectations using project management tools (e.g., Project Plan, Risk Analysis).
* Identify opportunities for re-design/design of equipment, tools, fixtures to enhance manufacturing processes.
* Oversee manufacturing support tasks and train technicians on conducting tests.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or equivalent engineering field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Engineering or Scientific field including industry or industry/education.
* Good computer skills in MS Office Suite and CAD experience (if applicable).
* Basic documentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.
* Knowledge of statistical techniques and lab/industrial equipment (if applicable).
