My client is seeking a Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant to join a growing team in Waterford.

You will work with a diverse client base across various industries, providing high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, including income tax, corporation tax, and VAT.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored financial advice.
Audit Support: Participate in audit processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and assisting in the preparation of audit reports.
Management Accounts: Prepare management accounts and financial reports to support clients in their decision-making processes.
Advisory Services: Provide clients with business advisory services, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, ensuring compliance and advising clients on best practices.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior accountants and other team members, contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Software Proficiency: Utilise accounting software and tools (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) for efficient financial management and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience: Education: ACCA (preferred).
Experience: Must have at least 2-3 years experience in practice.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax regulations.
Software: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Problem-Solving: A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail.
