Wedding Manager for luxury four-star We are currently recruiting a Wedding Managerfor this luxury four-star hotel with large banqueting space.
This role is responsible for maximising wedding business sales across all hotel depts (C&B, rooms, F&B) while ensuring excellent levels of guest service throughout the enquiry and sales process.
Sales and Events responsibilities: Represent the hotels Wedding function internally and externally.
Deal with all wedding enquiries, ensuring business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.
Plan & set up wedding appointments and tastings, conduct show arounds, following up on calls & the distribution of data.
Produce regular reporting documents (revenue, budget, business trends, conversions etc) and offer analysis and feedback.
Ensure optimal sales performance through regular on-the-job training and development.
Ensure weddings are operating to appropriate standards, ensuring client satisfaction and the necessary controls are in place to provide the required profitability.
Prepare and assist with printing of weekly function sheets and issue to all departments.
Engage in all client relationship activities: client satisfaction surveys, follow up calls, client development activities, special events, and promotions.
Be alert for opportunities for special events to increase our sales.
Constantly striving to maximize room capacity and revenue, implementing yield management for maximum possible sales.
Liaise regularly with Senior Manager, General Manager & Head of Sales.
Liaise with the management team and other depts with regard to any changes in business booked.
Attend hotel meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
Ensure that all contracts, deposits, and payment schedules are followed in line with company procedure.
Marketing responsibilities: Constantly update hotel literature, menus, price tariffs and Wedding Information within an appropriate time frame.
Ensure that the Wedding Section of the website is constantly updated with correct information.
Be aware of competitor products and prices.
Ensure that Wedding Social Media is updated regularly.
Attend promotions, events and exhibitions as directed and follow up as required.
Arrange at least two in-house wedding showcase events per year.
The ideal candidate: Minimum of two years experience as Wedding Manager/Coordinator within a luxury four/five star hotel.
