1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from Argon & CoHead of Talent & HR at Argon & Co IrelandWe are now recruiting for a Supply Chain Consultant to join us on the exciting next phase of our journey!As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will be part of a high-performing cross-functional project team, working to successfully design and deliver customer-centric Business Transformation programs with our clients.This role is ideally suited to someone coming from both a strong supply chain and manufacturing background, with industry experience in large scale high growth/high performance companies.Using your Supply Chain and Manufacturing knowledge and proven industry experience, you will best advise and work with our clients on their Supply Chain and Manufacturing transformation journeys.It's also important that the preferred candidate has the ability to guide decision-makers and drive transformation, using our collaborative methodology.If you thrive in an environment of high energy, creativity and where your entrepreneurial spirit and contributions are valued, then we would love to hear from you!Responsibilities:Support the Business Architects in leading functional workstream activities, to progress through the design of each of the operating model elements.Provide consultancy on Supply Chain and Manufacturing best practice techniques used in industry.Collaborate effectively with other functional teams (e.g. Procurement, Quality), and the Program Manager to ensure integration across workstreams.Work with the Program Manager to deliver and manage the workstream plan, report status, issues and risks.Facilitate and support with design workshops and document outputs and actions.Partner with the Change Manager in the identification of business change impacts, and delivery of the Change program.Liaise with IT by ensuring that business needs are clearly defined and working with the business team to address any potential gaps with proposed system solutions.Support internal knowledge sharing and team growth.Person Specification:Ideally 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing in large scale or multi-national corporations (FMCG, Pharma, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing).Complementary functional experience includes Operations, Planning, Logistics, New Product Launches desirable.Demonstrated successful project experience, ideally within a consulting capacity or in-house from related industry.A Consultant led approach, with a focus on achieving through people and process design.Excellent communication skills, regardless of medium used, and able to convey complex ideas in simple messaging.Highly collaborative outlook, with the personal skills to bring people on a change journey.Demonstrates curiosity and enjoys problem solving and is comfortable dealing with complex problems which require integration with other functional workstreams.Positive outlook, and passionate about delivering business benefits through customer orientated Operating Model design.Demonstrated thought-leadership through published blogs, articles or other industry-relevant activities is encouraged.Why work with us:Argon & Co is a global management consultancy that specializes in operations strategy and transformation.
