Our Talent, Learning and Development Team is recognised as a high performing Center of Expertise (COE), that delivers market-leading and award-winning learning and development interventions for Musgrave and its Brands. We are seeking a Learning & Development Delivery Team Leader to join our high performing and impactful team.
Please note that this role is flexible on location and can be based in Dublin or Cork
Reporting to the Head of Talent, Learning and Development the key responsibilities of the role include:
1. Leading a team of Learning & Development Specialists across the IOI, providing clear direction and support, coaching and mentoring team members to develop their skills and capabilities enabling them to deliver their goals and grow their careers.
2. Inputting into strategic decision-making on the investment of team resources and the required future skills to deliver on our business strategy, commercial and brand plans across IOI.
3. Using insights from our current reality, directing the efforts of the whole team to the areas of highest benefit for the business and our Brands.
4. Managing the delivery and performance of the Learning and Development plans and measuring delivery and impact through KPI reporting.
5. Ensuring the L&D Specialist team provides relevant and tailored behaviours training and advice, influencing and coaching Store owners to lead positive cultural change in their business and deliver world class consumer experiences.
6. Working with all Stakeholders ensuring engagement & impact is high, value adding, efficient and effective.
7. Providing input to and taking insights from external benchmark opportunities to ensure the L&D proposition is fit for purpose and evolving to meet the needs of the business and Brands.
8. Working with other members of the COE Team to design, deliver and review the optimal Learning & Career Pathways across Musgrave.
9. Contributing to the creation of a Learning culture and the promotion of the full Musgrave Institute offering across Musgrave and our Brands. Participating in internal or external marketing or PR events as required to promote Musgrave and our Brands as an employer of choice.
10. Leading or contributing on wider HR or business projects as required.
What we are looking for
1. Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in an L&D management role, including leadership of a team.
2. Qualifications: A relevant qualification in L&D, HR, or a related field (e.g., Training, Education). A coaching qualification is a plus.
3. Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team, while driving business goals and objectives.
4. Communication & Organization: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5. Facilitation Expertise: Skilled in facilitating large groups and delivering impactful learning sessions.
6. Problem-Solving & Influence: Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
7. Retail Sector Interest: A passion for the retail sector, customer experience, and commercial acumen.
8. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with e-learning design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Synthesia, Camtasia, Canva) and/or Learning Experience Platforms (e.g., Cornerstone) is desirable.
9. Mobility: A full driver’s license is essential, as this role requires nationwide travel.
