Yard Operative - Forklift License Required
Location: Little Island, Cork
Salary: €632 per week (approx. €15.80/hour, €33k PA)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather (protective gear provided).
We are seeking a motivated Yard Operative to join our client's team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a valid forklift license and manual handling training who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries, picking and packing orders, and maintaining the efficient operation of yard activities.
You will work closely with your team leader and Yard Supervisor to ensure a smooth-running operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Picking and packing customer orders
* Assisting with stocktaking
* Forklift operation when required
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Adhering to HSE standards and safe working practices
* Flexibility to take on various duties as needed by the business
The Ideal Candidate Will:
