Job Summary
This Office Administrator role is based at Millbrae Lodge Nursing Home in Newport, County Tipperary. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing home.
Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel or departments.
* Greeting visitors and guests professionally and directing them to their destination.
* Handling reception-related queries and providing a high level of customer service.
* Maintaining the good reputation of the nursing home within the local community through proactive marketing and promotion.
* Attending training sessions and maintaining accurate records of training completed.
* Reporting any incidents or accidents involving residents, colleagues, or visitors to the Home Manager or Person in Charge.
* Ensuring the implementation of health and safety policies and emergency procedures.
* Promoting safe working practices within the nursing home.
* Protecting confidential information and maintaining the security of the nursing home.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a reception or administration role is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and email.
* A professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
* Garda Vetting clearance as required by H.I.Q.A.
Working Conditions:
* Full-time, permanent position.
* From €13.50 per hour.
* 8-hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications:
* 1 year's experience in Microsoft Office and administration.
