About the Opportunity
We are enabling the adoption of Cloud Native Technologies across the Ericsson Portfolio.
You will work in a software development team on a regular cadence to develop and deliver cloud native microservices.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
* Work as part of a team to meet team deliverables & goals
* Enhance product quality and user experience
* Collaborate with Software Architects and Technology Experts on the development and evolution of our technology
Required Skills
* 2-6 years of experience developing software applications, preferably with microservice development
* Experience with Java software development language, including Enterprise or Spring framework
* Experience with test automation using industry standard frameworks such as JUnit, Spock, or Robot Framework
* Familiarity with Docker/Containerization and Kubernetes, including Helm
* Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively
* Knowledge of message bus technologies, databases, and data management
* Scripting skills to solve application automation or lifecycle problems using Python or shell scripts
* Understanding of software quality, static analysis, code review, bug handling, and software build technologies
* Awareness of monitoring software, backwards compatibility, and semantic versioning
* Experience working in an Agile software development team, preferably Scrum framework
