A leading multinational construction company has engaged Amicus to assist in recruiting a high-calibre tax accountant. The successful individual will join a team of 5 based in South Dublin, with global mobility tax exposure covering corporate tax and transfer pricing.
The Role
* Assist the tax manager in coordinating and running international assignments.
* Have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Mobility program, including support for queries from assignees and stakeholders providing best practice advice on assignment management or relocation matters.
* Work with the tax manager on the tax compliance of international assignments and tax planning for overseas projects.
* Assist and coordinate with international payroll teams globally in implementing assignee compensation, shadow payroll, year-end compliance, and PAYE exclusion orders.
* Support ad hoc compensation and benefits projects from a mobility perspective.
* Assist with compliance from an individual tax, immigration, and corporate risk perspective for the mobile population employee base and group companies involved.
* Assess potential Employment Tax, Corporation Tax, and VAT issues of project work in various global jurisdictions.
* Evaluate the payroll process for assignees to ensure smooth operation.
The Person
* Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) or part-qualified.
* Ideal training in a large practice.
* Good exposure to tax principles.
* Global mobility experience beneficial, though not essential.
