DePuy-Synthes (DPS), part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Technology Portfolio Management to be located in Raynham, MA, or Cork, Ireland or Warsaw, IN, or, Palm Beach Gardens, or Suzhou, China or Blackpool/Leeds, UK & this role will support the Strategic Network Transformation team.
This role will oversee portfolio management and reporting as well as serve strategic support.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring implementation and flawless execution of initiatives and projects within the Orthopaedics Supply Chain.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities • Lead portfolio excellence for the Network team through setting of execution framework, standards and processes, oversight of portfolio execution and reporting, management of department tools and websites.
• Implementation of Best-in-Class data management systems to ensure real time effective tracking of the portfolio of projects • Implementation of portfolio risk and change management processes • Accountable for key portfolio performance metrics, including, but not limited to, schedule performance, cost performance (capital and expense), resource management and portfolio output metrics.
• Assists in establishing and implementing department standard processes and interacts with the technology department through dashboards.
Introduce key performance indicators and monitors the technology program/portfolio through metrics and reporting • Coordinates reporting through dashboards and optimizes analytical capabilities * Collaborate to support the monthly Finance cycle with Network leadership, including Business Planning cycles for the Network portfolio with Finance.
* Provide strategic support for the Network Team including governance, team meetings, town halls, and key events.
• Support program reviews with Supply Chain Leadership Team and other executive stakeholders as required.
* Drive effective project/portfolio management by collaborating across- ensuring appropriate process controls, standards, metrics, and updates.
* Manage initiatives effectively, timely, and on budget while minimizing any impact to base business, customer service and employee engagement.
* Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality, and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfy outcomes.
* Strive to understand complex problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to meet timelines.
* Keep senior manager and key project stakeholders updated on issues, resolution, risks and overall status of projects.
* Ensure local change management and commitment to the project goals are in place at each impacted site and function.
Qualifications • A minimum of a bachelor's degree required; Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field highly preferred; Advanced degree such as a M.S.
or MBA a plus Required: • Strong communicator, influencer, and self-motivated • Comfortable working in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and possess the ability to adapt accordingly • Detail oriented • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional work experience is required • Project management experience required • Knowledge of end-to-end product supply and distribution in a regulated environment is required • Demonstrated track record in a portfolio role within a regulated environment.
• Track record of innovation and adaptability in Program Governance, with strong problem-solving skills.
