A Deli Manager is required for a Supermarket in Co. Leitrim.
Main Purpose
Ensure the Deli Department operates efficiently and effectively, providing customers with excellent products and services.
Main Duties
* 1 year of experience in a Supervisor/Manager role (desirable)
* 1 year of experience in a fresh food role (desirable)
* Experience in achieving sales targets and KPIs
* Experience in gross profit and margins
* Fully trained in HACCP and food safety, meeting requirements
* Experience in ordering and managing waste in a fresh food department
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* Numerical skills
* Ability to adhere to budgets
* Excellent communication skills
* Possession of a true passion for the food industry, driving creativity and innovation
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare deli serve presentation and layout
* Drive sales and margin across key areas of the deli
* Manage KPIs: sales, margin, waste management, pricing, and promotional displays
* Implement planograms correctly
* Minimise waste and shrink in the department
* Bring new ideas on fresh food innovation through regular research and benchmarking
* Demonstrate passion for quality food by sharing knowledge and recommendations with shoppers
* Train all new employees to the deli
* Deal with customer queries efficiently and professionally
* Engage with new initiatives and adapt to new ways of working
The remuneration package will include a bonus structure.
