Job Responsibilities:
1. To ensure the premises is sufficiently staffed.
2. To ensure all staff are on duty on time.
3. To ensure all company policies in relation to staff employment rules are adhered to including disciplinary, grievance etc.
4. To communicate with employees, HR Dept, and Senior Management on issues such as staff performance, customer care, timekeeping, quality of work etc.
5. To ensure that rosters are prepared, agreed, and posted a week in advance.
6. To ensure that the company's policies in relation to bullying, sexual harassment, and smoking are prominently displayed at all times.
7. To build an ethos of friendliness, presentation of staff, customer care, hygiene, and cooperation within the store, organizing training or re-training where necessary.
8. To seek advice and guidance in the area of labour legislation before taking action which could compromise the company.
9. To motivate staff as you see fit in order to maximize their performance and enjoyment in the work they do.
Daily Duties:
1. To ensure the smooth running of the shift.
2. To ensure the premises is fully prepared for service.
3. To ensure service is efficient, with the minimum of fuss & delay and to the required standard.
4. To organize and partake in stocktaking on a regular basis.
5. To undertake any other managerial duties which may arise from time to time.
6. Where applicable, to take responsibility for security aspects of the store including opening and closing of premises at prescribed times.
7. To maintain a positive attitude with staff & customers alike.
8. To follow all standards which have been implemented in the premises.
9. To ensure the guest is satisfied with the service & product provided.
10. To maintain the Restaurant & surrounding areas to a high level of cleanliness.
11. To deal with customer enquiries & complaints.
12. To have an in-depth knowledge of all company facilities available.
13. To communicate all company facilities & services to guests.
14. To ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming.
15. To follow all standards towards service excellence implemented within the Departments.
