About The Role
* IN2 is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team during an exciting period of growth. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and CAD Technicians on a diverse range of projects.
* The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality mechanical engineering solutions, while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continued success of our consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and delivery of mechanical building services solutions, including HVAC, water services, and public health systems.
* Work across a variety of sectors, applying expertise to a diverse portfolio of projects.
* Engage with clients, presenting ideas and ensuring that project requirements are met to the highest standards.
* Mentor and manage junior engineers, supporting their professional growth and development.
* Take a proactive role in driving the best-in-class service that IN2 is known for.
* Contribute to the strategic growth of the business, with a pathway towards Associate Director level and beyond.
The Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
* A strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including HVAC, water services, and public health systems.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Experience working across a range of sectors.
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting ideas to clients and stakeholders.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage projects independently.
* A passion for mentoring junior engineers and helping to develop future talent.
* Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
