Our client based in Shannon seeks a Projects Manager to oversee diverse capital improvement and operational projects. The role involves managing project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage Opex and Capex projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, efficiency, and passenger experience.
* Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
* Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and stakeholders for successful project delivery.
* Establish and maintain a digital data room for key engineering documentation.
* Implement systems for efficient data retrieval and ensure compliance with data security.
* Adhere to public procurement guidelines and prepare documentation for regulatory audits.
* Develop and manage engineering project budgets working closely with finance colleagues.
* Lead a team of engineering technicians to deliver project success.
Requirements:
* A recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field to bachelor's degree level.
* Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial role.
* Knowledge of aviation and airport environment is advantageous.
* Experience in project management is essential.
* Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools, MS Office, and BIM System.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.
* High level of drive and energy, ability to make things happen.
