Job Title: Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) – Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT)
About the Role:
Medforce Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to join a dynamic Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Meath. This rewarding role involves delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support children and adolescents with disabilities, helping them manage emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.
As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver holistic, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist CBT assessments and interventions for children with a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs.
2. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans.
3. Collaborate closely with families and caregivers, offering guidance and psychoeducation to support children’s mental health.
4. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centered services.
5. Participate in service development initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
1. Qualification: A recognized qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally working with children or in disability services.
3. Registration: Accredited with a recognized professional body (e.g., BABCP, IACP, IAHIP).
4. Skills:
* Expertise in delivering CBT to children and adolescents.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Compassionate, family-centered approach.
