Primary Activity Therapist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Activity Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging environment for young people in our care.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Social Studies or a related field, with experience working in children's residential care. You will be expected to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans that promote the emotional, social, and educational well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
* Develop and lead group and individual activity programs that promote socialization, skill-building, and personal growth.
* Work closely with colleagues to identify and address underlying bio-psychosocial factors contributing to resident concerns.
* Collaborate with families and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support.
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (Level 7 or 8) in Applied Social Studies or a related field.
* At least one year of experience working in children's residential care.
* Full manual driving license and access to a car.
