About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team in our Listowel facility.
You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of equipment used within our plant, working collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to identify and prioritize equipment issues.
The Maintenance Electrician role is a day shift position with rostered weekend work.
Our Listowel site comprises four factories: Primary Dairy, Whey Dry Dairy Ingredients, Flavours, and Wet Dairy Retail Spreads.
The Listowel facility processes 500 million litres of milk annually, offering a comprehensive product range consisting of Dairy Proteins, Primary Dairy Ingredients, Dry Dairy Ingredients, Dairy Flavours, and Cheese Solutions products manufactured on-site.
These products cater to a wide spectrum of applications, including Dairy, Bakery, Nutritional Beverages, Savoury Snacks, Cereals and Bars, Confectionery, Prepared Meals, Ice Cream, and Frozen Desserts.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to Production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance, installation, and modification.
* Perform detailed maintenance, calibrations, PMs, and troubleshooting.
* Support maintenance planning and preventative maintenance through completion of planned and emergency work orders, calibrations, PMs, etc.
* Document maintenance work, including upgrades made to existing equipment, preventative maintenance performed, and parts used to ensure appropriate documentation and records of repair history.
* Support continuous improvement by active participation in repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and system failure investigations and investigation reports, execution/development of change control as appropriate.
* Adhere to Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures, carrying out tasks in a safe and controlled manner.
* Pro-actively collaborate with peers, production, quality, and support groups to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Qualifications and Skills
* Electrical Craft Qualification with plant maintenance experience.
* Relevant H&S Qualifications, e.g. IOSH, Confirmed Spaces, etc.
