We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer (+5 years) to join a Modern Engineering project, to design, build and operate CI/CD pipelining across numerous projects and applications.
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be a key member of a Modern Engineering Platform team, delivering up-to-date delivery practices across Technology, Process, and Culture. They will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operational management of multiple CI/CD pipelines running on OpenShift K8 clusters.
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will also drive the wider Agile DevSecOps automation agenda, working with product teams to reengineer existing software applications over to microservice-oriented architectures.
Responsibilities:
* Pipeline Management: Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that are automated and integrated throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
* Integrate and manage security tooling into CI/CD processes for continuous security feedback, including SAST, DAST, and other automated vulnerability analysis tool sets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to establish and drive a DevOps culture.
* Provide mentorship to junior DevSecOps engineers and other Modern Engineering team members on DevSecOps standards, processes, and practices.
* Lead the implementation and monitoring of DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics to provide measurable insights into the effectiveness of the Modern Engineering software delivery process.
* Design and drive a Continuous Improvement roadmap towards DevSecOps tooling, coverage, and culture.
Preferred Skillsets:
* 5+ years experience in DevSecOps Engineering.
* Proven experience with CI/CD automation tooling: Git, ArgoCD, Sonarqube, Azure DevOps Services, Podman, Skopeo, Clair, ZAProxy, HashiCorp Vault, Gatling, Nexus Repository.
* Proficiency with Kubernetes container-based solutions.
