As a Warehouse Supervisor, your role is crucial to the success of the branch operation. Leading a team of General Assistants, you will drive exceptional performance and operational standards to ensure we deliver our Customer Promise.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage warehouse operations, resources, and customer service within the branch, including line management responsibility for the General Assistant team.
2. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation in all areas of the warehouse.
3. Deliver balanced performance across key business metrics and KPI measures in line with business goals.
4. Maintain branch standards to ensure a balanced performance.
5. Lead, coach, and develop teams to create necessary skills and capabilities.
6. Conduct regular colleague reviews to strengthen engagement and support development.
7. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to create a robust succession plan.
8. Ensure effective recruitment to attract future talent.
9. Deliver structured daily briefings to communicate key objectives and measures.
10. Work an average of 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm and alternate Saturdays 8am-4pm.
Skills and Experience
1. Excellent communication skills to develop customer and colleague relationships.
2. Experience leading a warehouse operations team with a customer-first attitude.
3. Knowledge of recruitment processes.
4. Understanding of P&L and stock management.
5. Ability to identify and resolve Health and Safety concerns.
6. Capability to review, challenge, and develop colleagues.
