What we are looking for:
-Previous experience in a similar background and role
-Haccp Knowledge and Training
-Certification from a recognised body is preferred
-Basic Computers and Fluent English
-Ability to work as a team player
-Flexibility to work with other disciplines within the Kitchen
Responsibilities:
-Assist with pastry preparation and services including breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, wedding banquets
- Assist with development, design and creation of new menus
- Ensure all products of work are presented to the required 5 star standard
- Remain informed and up to date with any new and innovative methods of service within the area of pastry
- Ensure all HACCP legislation is enforced within the pastry section
- Lead and support the junior members of the team
