Project Engineer
This role is part of the Technical Services Team, responsible for daily facility management and long-term project planning and execution of plant works and projects.
The successful candidate will provide and manage technical expertise across plant areas, including fault finding and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Safety Leadership Framework.
* Maintain Asset Management Policies for the plant, in line with best practice.
* Maintain the Critical Asset Register and Long Term Asset Plan.
* Lead, empower, and motivate staff to achieve optimum performance.
* Plan outages and associated works, including works programme, contracts, project, and commercial documentation.
* Work within a team and engage effectively with all key internal and external stakeholders, agencies, and be intimately aware of the various regulatory, licensing, and legislative frameworks under which Stations operate.
* Understand the challenges posed by the changing business environment in which stations operate and drive change and flexibilities needed to address these challenges.
Requirements:
* Experience and competence in Operations/Maintenance/Engineering Services of power plant and in power plant technologies, systems, and procedures.
* Project Management and/or other professional qualifications.
* A primary engineering degree or equivalent work experience is essential.
