Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
* Provide support to other Surveyors on the team in delivering services for team projects.
* Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduate Surveyors.
* Evaluate projects and tasks to ensure they are managed efficiently, completed on time and meet the client's satisfaction.
* Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and members of the project team.
* Serve as an interface with clients and design team members on specific projects.
* Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
* Deliver full Cost Management duties to clients on allocated projects.
* Participate in non-project related team activities and tasks; QA, office management, business development, H&S.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Degree Qualified - BSc or MSc - in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
* Professionally Qualified - On the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland and preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI.
* Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools shall be essential.
