Power Platform Developer - Co. Clare (BBBH2911) Shannon, Republic of Ireland
Overview of Role
We are currently seeking a Power Platform Developer for our client based in Co. Clare. This is a great opportunity for you to join a global leader in their industry. You need to be a hands-on software engineer and have a deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI to design, configure and develop custom solutions in Microsoft Power platform. This will be permanent role with ideally two days spent on-site with competitive salary & benefits.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with stakeholders to develop, customise, and integrate new solutions within the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, including Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Data Factory and Azure.
2. Support the enhancement and maintenance of existing Power Platform solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
3. Provide support for data integration and transformation processes, including assisting with operations under the guidance of the Lead Data Engineer.
4. Participate in process automation and digital work-flow initiatives to improve efficiency across departments.
5. Provide end-user training and support for Microsoft Cloud tools, fostering adoption and effective usage.
6. Stay updated with Microsoft Cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions that align with business objectives.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:
* Ideally 2-3 years of work experience in Power Platform Development.
* Extensive experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services.
* Experience or knowledge regarding cloud computing, app development, or process automation.
* Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Microsoft technology Certs (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals or Azure Fundamentals) are desirable.
* UK/EU citizenship or a Stamp 4 visa is an essential requirement.
