RIGHT Group are a leading Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company with a significant track record in the Water/Waste Water Sector.
We currently have a requirement for an Electrical Instrumentation Craftsperson in Co. Clare/Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive and fast-growing Engineering Company with a reputation for promoting from within.
The Role:
The selected candidate will work under the direction of a Site Manager or Project Manager. They will be a natural problem solver and decision maker capable of working on their own initiative.
Candidates should have a full understanding of Electrical and Control wiring and have experience in servicing and calibrating instrumentation. Day to day, you will be an essential part of the on-site team of technicians responsible for service and repair of equipment within the water treatment industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for completing service and repair works on Electrical and Control equipment at various sites.
2. Installation and set up of different types of instrumentation and Controls equipment.
3. Installation/Service of Pumps and associated VSD and controls.
4. To be able to read and understand working drawings and Schematics.
5. Instrument Calibration.
6. Understanding of PLC's and automation.
7. Ability to work on your own initiative is essential.
8. To have up to date knowledge of relevant regulations and H&S guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Trade Qualified in Electrical or E&I.
2. 5+ years' experience within the industry.
3. Experience in commissioning/servicing instrumentation.
4. Experience in Water/Waste Water a distinct advantage.
5. Full clean driving licence.
6. Safe Pass.
7. Manual Handling Certificate.
8. A team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
9. Flexible to the needs of the business.
