My client is a global leader in fund administration and asset servicing, renowned for innovation and expertise since their founding. They are currently seeking an Transfer Agency Assistant Manager – Private Equity & Hedge to join their growing team in the IFSC.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
* Oversee the administration of services aligned with agreements for a portfolio of private equity and real estate funds.
* Lead and develop a team comprising supervisors, senior, and junior administrators.
* Act as the primary contact for clients within your portfolio.
* Maintain shareholder registers and act as a transfer agent.
* Manage processes such as subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and transfers.
* Handle communications with investors.
* Process payments and other transactions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
* Meet the expectations of fund participants by adhering to deadlines and compliance standards.
* Maintain and update all records and data for the Investor Relations Group, ensuring efficient and comprehensive file management.
* Update investor records using transfer agency systems and perform database reviews periodically.
* Assist auditors and other fund participants or advisers as required.
Qualifications
About You:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
* Over six years of experience in an investor relations environment, preferably within private equity or hedge funds.
* A strong interest in financial markets and the alternative investment sector.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective professional relationships.
