Job Summary
This role involves performing routine maintenance and repair work on a property. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are left in a neat, clean, and safe condition after completion of tasks.
Main Duties
1. Maintenance and Repair Work: Perform assigned maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the Manager.
2. Urgent Repairs: Complete emergency repairs as soon as they arise to prevent further damage or disruptions.
3. Painting Services: Carry out painting of hotel rooms and common areas according to scheduled plans provided by the Manager.
4. Material Collection: Collect necessary materials from local suppliers as required.
5. Sub-Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with sub-contractors for extensive repairs when necessary and as directed by the Manager.
6. Post-Task Cleanliness: Ensure that all areas are left in a neat, clean, and safe condition after maintenance work is completed.
7. Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety procedures and rules to prevent accidents resulting from maintenance activities.
8. Status Updates: Communicate with the Manager on serious maintenance issues and provide regular updates on the progress of maintenance work.
9. Authorization: Obtain authorization from the Manager before incurring any expenditure on maintenance.
10. Preventative Maintenance: Assist with implementing a preventative maintenance program to minimize future issues.
11. Storage and Equipment Management: Ensure that all materials and equipment are stored correctly and not left in hazardous states.
12. Storage Area Maintenance: Maintain storage areas in a safe, clean, neat, and tidy condition at all times.
13. Special Duties: Complete any special duties or projects assigned by the Manager as needed.
14. Property Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repair work on other Company-owned properties as requested.
15. Uniform and PPE: Wear any required uniform or personal protective equipment as specified by the Company.
16. Reporting and Record Keeping: Complete checklists and reports in a timely manner.
